A Legacy of Faith, Prayer, and Generosity
For generations, the Catholic faith has been passed on across western South Dakota through the faithful generosity of those who came before us. Because of their commitment, parishes were built, schools were sustained, ministries were strengthened, and neighbors in need were served.

What Is the Catholic Heritage Society?
The Catholic Heritage Society recognizes individuals and families who have included the Western South Dakota Catholic Foundation in their estate plans through a planned or deferred gift. These gifts help ensure long-term support for Catholic parishes, schools, and ministries across western South Dakota. Membership is simple. Anyone who notifies the Foundation that they have made a planned gift becomes a member. There is no minimum gift required. Today, nearly 75 individuals and families are part of the Catholic Heritage Society, united by a shared commitment to the future of the Church in western South Dakota. A meaningful benefit of membership in the Catholic Heritage Society is prayer. Each year, twelve Mass intentions are offered for Society members, with one Mass celebrated each month by priests from across western South Dakota. Members are welcome to attend the Mass celebrated in their local area if they wish, offering a prayerful connection to this legacy of faith.
A Legacy Rooted in Prayer
